Web & App Development Portfolio

Homepage of my retail site, design, and creation is my own. November 2018.

This is the homepage of my most recent site, that I created for my Interactive Design I course at JMU. We were tasked with creating a website for a fictional retail company, for which I created “Chrissy Airlines.” I designed and hand coded the entire site myself using HTML and CSS. I created all of the logos and graphics used and I wrote all the copy. The photographs are not my own.

Homepage of my starter site, design, and creation is my own. October 2018.

This is the homepage of my first site, that I created for my Interactive Design I course at JMU. We were tasked with creating a website for a fictional Harrisonburg tourism company, for which I created “Dukes Downtown.” I designed and hand coded the entire site myself using HTML and CSS. I created all of the logos and graphics used and I wrote all the copy. I also took and edited all of the photos myself.

This video provides a tour of a recent app prototype I created using Axure RP. This was created entirely by me for my User Interaction Design course in the fall 2018 semester. I selected a problem (the decreasing interaction amount of time people spend in nature) and worked all semester to create an app prototype to solve the problem. For this project I learned about UX design, conducted user research, user tests of my various prototypes, and more.

This site that you’re currently on is another great example of my web development skills! I created this site using advanced options of WordPress.org, and everything you see here was created and developed by me!

I am also currently enrolled in Interactive Design II, where I will learn JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap. So stay tuned for even more coding expertise!
